# [Favorite Characters](https://www.mrs-lodges-library.com/2013/01/favorite-characters)

First graders were doing character studies in their classrooms so I thought it would be fun to meet a few characters in the library.  We "met" new characters each class for a few weeks.  After we met Frog and Toad, Squid and Octopus, and a few other fantastic book characters, students introduced their favorite characters.  They are now hanging around the library inspiring readers to try out their books.
